I told everyone I’d stay at Celonis for a max of 2 years. I stayed for 4.
When you go from unboxing a pallet of monitors in the service elevator to the Celonis Los Angeles office becoming the one people across the company want to visit - that was hard to walk away from.
Four years of highlights -
-> Shipping the Process Intelligence Graph as the default Celonis experience, solving coordination challenges with 40+ engineers across 5 countries
-> Building Transformation Hub with a small team into a real product with CoE and sales impact
-> Creating Celonis’s first delightful user experience with Business Miner
-> Starting the Developer Tools team from zero to break down engineering silos that had been around for years
I still believe deeply in Celonis’s mission to improve how the world does business. Good luck to everyone still there - I’ll be cheering you on.
But I’m even more excited about what’s next: VideoAmp. The TV measurement and media currency space is going through a massive shift right now, and I can’t wait to be part of it.
More soon. In the meantime - What’s the longest you’ve stayed somewhere you planned to leave quickly?
