Things were so hectic for the last months of school and I have felt like doing absolutely nothing for the first few months of summer. Unfortunately, this meant that my blog was not updated for around 5 months. Go me I guess. In any case, I had a stressful end of year but everything worked out and I got my MS and BS on the same day. Here’s a pic with good old Mom and Dad.
I look like a complete dork but oh well. Anyway, after that I road tripped home, going through Mammoth Caves up in KY, Graceland in Memphis, TN, Amarillo, TX, Santa Fe and Albuquerque in NM and Flagstaff, Meteor Crater, and the Grand Canyon in AZ before hitting up the old OC. I followed that up with a trip to Europe - going through the U.K., France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Germany with Contiki. I highly recommend the tour company - it’s for 18-35 year olds, they plan all the stressful travelling, you get to do all the fun parts (visiting parts of cities, finding cool bars, et cetera). And the guides know all the cool stuff to do in the various stops! Since then I took a trip up to San Francisco to chill with some high school friends. Other than that, I’ve been mostly chilling, hanging out with friends and generally having a good time. I start work at Google in Santa Monica on August 25, so I’ve been doing some apartment hunting to get ready for that. I’m not sure I’m ready for this adult life yet … a lack of responsibility is so addicting …
