Okay, back from Tsunami!
Summary:
Day 1 (Monday)
Took the looong drive up to Anaheim (sooo much better than Sacramento last year and Fresno the year before that, although it’s in San Jose next year :(), registered at the hotel, went and ate a club sandwich at Coco’s. Played on the inflatable bull, did sumo wrestling, raced on obstacle course. Evening session: pastor, David Nasser; bands, Reuben, Timber.
Day 2 (Tuesday)
Breakfast was IHOP’s breakfast burrito (mmm…massive!). Morning hot topic: The media & Christianity. Morning session: pastor, David Nasser; bands, Isaac Air Freight and Timber. Lunch was Taco Bell. Got the PS2 working, played some Tekken 3 with my youth pastor/youth group. Evening hot topic: Forgiveness. Evening session: pastor, David Nasser; bands, Out of Eden, Isaac Air Freight, Timber. Then there was devotional/small group time. Dinner: Chinese food.
Day 3 (Wednesday)
Breakfast was McDonald’s “Big Breakfast” (hah!). Morning hot topic: Islam: What CNN doesn’t tell you. Morning session: pastor, Francis Chan; bands, some heavy metal dudes, Isaac Air Freight, and Timber. Lunch was…uh…I don’t even remember at this point. Then I went home to find Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, waiting for me. Yay!
