Well, I just had my first of probably soon-to-be many college interviews. Went fairly well - 30 minutes turned into 2 hours - thank heavens I had a coffee to keep my mouth moistened! Great guy, a doctor, we talked about everything from sports to philosophy to my life to just about everything. He heard some things about my personal life that I don’t tell just everybody. Sold me on the school more than I’d already been sold, which is quite considerably. Funny story - when I first got to the Starbucks it took place at I saw a wizened Asian gentleman and thought that my first test may have been to go up and approach him, but it turned out not to be him as he was in his 30s. Interesting conundrum though. I’ll most likely not get in, but if I do and the money’s right, I’d be happy to go there. We’ll see.
