LIIIIFFFEEE!

Hey everyone! I just finished my final AP test with a glorious bang (Spanish…ha) and my last IB test was yesterday (also Spanish). I have turned in my CAS forms.

IB DONE
IB DONE
IB DONE

And…AP DONE.

YAY! 4 years of Troy are almost over…still gotta do my Troy Tech fair project and my Sawaya essay, along with any other makeup homework for math I may be forgetting :).

Today was fun! I went with Banack, Ally, and Mel to first re-view Shrek at her house, and then we went to see Shrek 2 at the theater. There were many references to other films/sociological relics and it was pretty damn hilarious. The other peoples were fun too :). HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLY! YOU’RE OLD LIKE ARI NOW! OLD LIKE THE MOUNTAINS!

Speaking of Mel…I HAVE A DATE TO PROM!!! Let’s see how that went down…Ally and I went out and we selected some gifts that we thought would fit Mel’s personality…like tape, a medkit, a Grunty (don’t ask), and candy, along with a full dozen pretty light roses. So every period I left her a little note with one of my curios and come 5th period (her final class), I walked in to Mr. Scott’s at the end of the class and asked her. AND SHE SAID YES! YAY!

Woohoo, go Mel, you’re way cool :). My life is too, as of now :).

And for the inner Dostoevsky fan out there, have a quote from The Devils, the most action packed Dostoevsky novel I’ve yet seen: “No one is to blame, I did it myself.” It would be a spoiler to tell you what :).

And while I’m at it, here’s a basic description of what’s commonly known as Galois theory. Basically, it is designed to study the roots of a polynomial equation f(x)=0 to figure out their solubility by radicals (or not, in the case of p=5). It uses many techniques from abstract algebra (groups, fields, all that fun stuff) to do so.
