Vanderbilt’s flying me (at their expense) to Nashville March 20-22 to offer me a full tuition + laptop scholarship worth $32,090. $32,090!!!!
$40,647 (total) - $32,090 = $8,557 = Considerably less than even the UCs. Sweet! I don’t know where the engineering department gets this kind of money ‘tho. Perhaps they robbed a bank or something, because that’s nearly $130,000 over 4 years.
In other news, we lost ProgFest pretty horribly. I swear 2 of our programs shoulda worked, but oh well :). I really enjoyed the day, the thinking, yes, even the losing. Free CD case too! Finding out CSULA actually exists was a pleasant surprise as well.
Saw “50 First Dates”, “Blade Runner”, and “Arlington Road” this week. All 3 come highly recommended, especially “Blade Runner”.
